Postdoctoral researchers and PhD students at the University of Jyväskylä (Finland)

The Department of Biological and Environmental Science is an internationally recognized research and teaching unit. The department covers Aquatic Sciences, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Cell and Molecular Biology, and Environmental Science and Technology. The department houses the Finnish Center of Excellence in Evolutionary Research and part of the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Virus Research.

The department is currently seeking to recruit staff to the following positions:
1) Postdoctoral researchers (5-6 positions), starting from 1 January 2011 (contract length maximum of four years).
2) PhD students (3-4 positions), starting from 1 January 2011, (contract length maximum of four years).
